How to Convert Primary Partition to Logical Partition

An MBR disk contains one primary partition at least and 4 primary partitions at most. In addition to primary partition, a hard disk also contains extended partition which can be divided into several logical partitions. Sometimes, you may want to convert a primary partition to logical partition due to different reasons. In this situation, you can use IM-Magic Partition Resizer which has the ability to convert partition from primary to logical without losing any data.

Step1. Right click the primary partition and select "Convert to Logical Partition" option.
